Auto insurance

Nobody tells you when your car insurance stops being competitive.

One phone call connects you with a licensed insurance agent who can go through the coverage you carry now and price what else is available to you. There is no form on this page, and we never ask for your email address.

Insurers re-price a policy at every renewal. Nothing on the notice tells you by how much.

Three reasons drivers pick up the phone

The renewal came in higher

Insurers re-rate a policy at every renewal. The price you agreed to when you signed up is not necessarily the price you are paying now, and nothing prompts you to look at it.

Something about your driving changed

A move, a different commute, a car swapped, a driver added or taken off, a violation ageing off your record. Each of those can change how a carrier prices you — in either direction.

You have never actually compared

Carriers weight the same facts differently, which is why two of them can look at one driver and arrive at very different numbers. Asking is the only way to see where you land.

How the call goes

There is no form on this page. The telephone is the whole funnel.

You call the number

It rings through to a licensed insurance agent or to one of our marketing partners. No queue form, no callback request, no waiting on an email.

You answer a few questions

Vehicles, drivers, where the car is kept, roughly what you carry today. Have your current declarations page nearby if you have one — it makes the comparison a real one.

You decide, or you don’t

If what you hear is better than what you have, the agent can take it from there. If it is not, you hang up knowing where you stand. Both are useful outcomes.

Worth asking about

Bring whatever you are unsure of. These are the things agents field every day.

  • Liability limits, and whether yours still fit what you have to lose
  • Collision and comprehensive deductibles
  • Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage
  • Roadside assistance and rental reimbursement
  • Multi-vehicle, multi-policy, and safe-driver discounts
  • Adding a teen driver to the policy
  • SR-22 filings and high-risk situations
  • The gap between what a car is worth and what is still owed on it

A note on what this site is

Your Auto Insurance is an advertising and referral service. We are not an insurance company, an agency, or a broker, and we do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance. When you call the number on this page, you are connected to a licensed insurance agent or to one of our marketing partners, and they may compensate us for connecting you. That is how the site is paid for, and you should know it before you dial rather than after.

We cannot quote you, we cannot bind coverage, and we cannot promise a saving. What is available to you, at what price, is decided by the insurer, and it varies by state, by carrier, and by your own circumstances.

There is no form here and no newsletter. The only thing this page asks you to do is make a call, and the only information we ever hold is what you choose to give the agent on it.

Common questions

What does the call cost?

Nothing. The number on this page is free to call, you are not charged for speaking with an agent, and you are under no obligation to buy a policy at the end of it.

Is Your Auto Insurance an insurance company?

No. Your Auto Insurance is an advertising and referral service. We do not sell insurance, we do not set rates, and we do not decide who gets approved. Your call is connected to a licensed insurance agent or to one of our marketing partners, who can quote coverage from the carriers they represent.

Will my premium go down if I call?

We cannot promise that, and you should treat any site that does promise it with suspicion. Your premium is set by the insurer, using factors specific to you and to your state. Asking for a current quote is simply the only way to find out where you actually stand.

Why is there no form on this site?

Because we would rather you spoke to a person. A form collects your details and hands them on before anyone has answered a single question of yours. Calling puts the first question in your hands, and it means we are never holding information you have not chosen to give a licensed agent directly.

What happens to what I say on the call?

The information you give is used to quote and service your request, and may be shared with the licensed agents, insurers, and marketing partners who can help with it. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full picture, and Do Not Sell or Share is where you opt out.
